We created a short film the summer of 2009. We had a great time and several of our friends chipped in with fabulous things like original music by Ruckus Skye and sound design by Dan at The Sound Nut. Thanks to the awesome cicadas in east Tennessee in August, we ended up looping all of the dialogue. It was a fun time.

Our whole crew was great to work with, and our talent, Brent Thompson and Alex Thompson (yes, they’re related), were fantastic! And without further ado, here’s the film (warning, this is not a family friendly film. Lot’s of language, violence and drugs. My grandmother is not a fan beyond being proud that we made a movie).

YAY! I can finally share this one! This is a web series created by some awesome people in Atlanta. Our friend Ruckus Skye at Joybean Studios directed the season two finale and brought us in to do the visual effects. Claire also ran audio on the Nick Fury set which was fun.

So did you enjoy the lasers? That’s my favorite part! The rest of the show fun, but this is my favorite episode by far (not that I’m biased or anything).

I swear, one of the hardest parts of our job is not showing off our handiwork. Time to get back to work so we can hopefully share more goodies with you soon!

We were contacted by a company that manufactures cable already inside the conduit. They wanted an instructional/sales video to show how easy their product is to install. We needed to show that by using this product, companies could save time and money. To shoot it, we went to Oklahoma and filmed an actual install at a home and on their testing site. We took this project from start to finish and learned a lot about cable installation along the way.

This is a video we created for a Dojo in Knoxville. Sensei Toni offers a women’s defense course for a very reasonable rate and wanted to get the word out. Our job was to create a video that showed the supportive staff and give a glimpse of the types of activities that are performed. Many women who take the course have been victimized in the past and are nervous. Toni wanted to show them that the course is not difficult or scary

Last year, we worked on a recurring job for HGTV. The project highlighted people who worked to better their communities. Each video was filmed on location documentary style. These are real people just talking about what they do and why they do it. Our job? To make a story out of it and tie it up nicely into :60, :30 and :20 :10 versions. We also put in the graphics, but that was the easy part. It was a fun job, and our client really let us play with the edit. You can see more examples over on our Creative Edit page.
